THE FOUNDING OF SEED
In the mid-2016, Dr. Hein Paing Htoo Chit started a library in Yangon to bring youth together for their development. The organization started its journey in Mawlamyine by the small grant from Advancing Leaders Fellowship in 2016. In 2017, the organization gained temporary registration, and then permanent registration in 2018 February. In late 2018, SEED for Myanmar becomes a Build Peace Fellow organization of Build Up. To date, SEED has trained over 2,000 youth and young people from Southeast Myanmar to become active citizens, responsible leaders and social entrepreneurs.

Developing Youth Change Agents
I am very satisfied with "Youth Entrepreneurship for Social Justice" Training because I realized my values through this, and I could start an enterprise that aligned with my values. I had also been able to think how to lead the business.
Naing Oo, Founder of Poe Mon Traditional Restaurant
I realized the need to get out of the comfort zone and from the condition of not knowing where to start doing things I want to do. I began to pursue my dream and start to make money out of it.
